Georgian, George III, Silver Brandy Pan. Of pear shaped form with turned wooden handle and monogram.
Hallmarked for London 1761 by Thomas Whipham & Charles Wright.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age and use. There is no clouding to the silver and it is free of dents, splits and creases. The handle is secure. Slightly more moderate wear to the underside, but still considered to be in excellent order considering this area would have been in contact with a heat source.
Approximate weight is 227 grams or 7.2 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 20 cm length, 17 cm height and 9.3 cm top rim diameter, including spout.
