On April 11, 2019, the FDA issued its final rule on the effectiveness of consumer hand sanitizers. At this time the only approved active ingredients in a hand sanitizer are ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and benzalkonium chloride (BZK).

SOFT FOAM HAND SANITIZER is formulated with Benzalkonium Chloride and only the most gentle ingredients, making it extremely mild to your skin while killing 99.99% of all germs. It contains agents that replace natural skin oils normally washed away by regular soap. Its balanced, neutral pH formula is formulated for extra mildness for even the most sensitive skin.

Benzalkonium Chloride has also been proven to provide extended kill time (up to four hours) after initial application against some pathogens.
