Mushroom Spore Pillowcase by Willywaw
Mushroom hunters will quickly recognize the unique spore patterns left behind by mushrooms portrayed in the beautiful print on this pillowcase. The rest of us just adore the abstracted organic vibes and modern, yet outdoorsy touch these pillows add to your decor.
The combination of unbleached, \"peached\" cotton and charcoal gray ink has a subtle, earthy feel on this handprinted Mushroom Spore Print pillow by Willywaw. Peached cotton has a brushed surface and is a medium weight twill, heavier and more durable than flannel but not as heavy as denim.
The pillow measures 18\" square, with an invisible zipper. Print is on both sides.
**Pillow Insert NOT included**
The feeling of our handprinted pillows is uncomplicated and welcoming. Fabrics are chosen for their texture and qualities of softness and durability. Natural fibers wear well, feel good and are wonderful to print on with our water-based inks.
About Willywaw:
Named after the katabatic winds in the Strait of Magellan, Willywaw is the design studio and workshop of artist, Ashley Van Etten. Ashley is an illustrator/printmaker/designer.
Her screen-printed work combines her curiosity for the natural world, her love of art, and her affinity for natural textiles. With the exception of imprinted goods, like t-shirts and tea towels, Ashley sews all of her handprinted textiles herself. She creates beautiful, well-made, functional designs with a modern, organic vibe.
Willywaw is based in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
