A Story in Every Stool

Each Forms stool is produced by machining a solid block of agglomerated cork with a remarkable seven-axis robotic sculptor into an intricate design. Crafted from 100% recycled cork, the Forms stool gives new life to material left over from wine cork production. This eco-conscious process ensures that no part of the cork oak tree goes to waste while preserving the natural beauty and integrity of this remarkable resource. Each stool is a reflection of Portugal’s centuries-old cork heritage. Cork in itself is derived from the bark of a cork oak tree, which regrows over time. This means that cork can be harvested from the same tree for up to 200 years, and no trees are harmed in the process.
