This Starlight Innovation SC1 Star-Chair III is specifically designed to provide secure and comfortable seating for astronomical observations as well as other optical tasks. It can be used for astronomy, or with spotting scopes or binoculars for birding, nature watching, etc. This folding chair can support up to 250 pounds (113.4 kg) of weight and features a 14\" x 8.5\" seat. The seat provides a 10\" - 32\" adjustable height and a 1\" thick foam pad cushion for comfortable viewing. It is made from 13-ply Baltic birch plywood and Canadian ash wood, and is treated with three layers of water-based lacquer. The chair\'s two legs are retained together with a secure wood bar to prevent a dangerous or accidental overextension of the legs.

The SC1 Star-Chair III from Starlight Innovation can be quickly adjusted for the desired height, and as quickly folded up and transported after use. The Star-Chair SC1 weighs only 13 lb (5.9 kg) so transporting it to and from your observing sites is a breeze. When folded, it takes up little space in a vehicle. The Starlight Innovation SC1 Star-Chair III normally comes with a black color foam seat cushion (1\" thick),  You will truly appreciate this Star-Chair when using it with your telescope or binoculars for any and all astronomy or nature viewing applications.
