Likely first produced by Blenko Glass Company in 1937, the Ring Series remains one of our most popular designs featuring a brilliantly colored ring (or rings) on a Crystal body.
This series has some historical significance to Blenko as the ware number indicates that it was initially produced one year prior to our iconic 384 Water Bottle! While the Ring Series has flitted in and out of our offering over the years, technically it is one of our oldest designs still being produced today. Since 1937, various tumblers and other pieces with a similar design have appeared and disappeared from the product line. The most recent appearance of the Ring Glass was in 2016 at the request of Walter Blenko, then company President, as he fondly recalled the use of his personal Ring rocks glass in the Blenko family home. He favored the rings as a \"good grip\" feature on a normally condensation slick glass and requested they be reintroduced into the line.Since 2016 a few other ringed items have been produced by Blenko Glass. The one ring rocks glass (#448R) and the double ringed glass (#3749G) remain staples of production.A companion Ringed Decanter entered the line in 2019.
