Amazingly Beautiful 1960\'s Jolles Original Handbag done in Needlepoint with Seed Beads and Embellished with Faux Coins

The interior is lined in Green with a Plastic Liner to keep it clean. The Roses on the Front are done in Needlepoint, Embellished with Beads, and surrounded with Green Leaves. The back is Black Velveteen. The Rarity of this Handbag is the Design done in a Smaller Size.

This handbag will hold a 5. 5\" cell phone very nicely with your other necessaries such as keys, lipstick, and hanky.

Some History of the Jolles Original Company and the Lady Herself - Ida Jolles began her company in 1923 in Vienna. This was a luxury brand in the mid 20th century and was sold to high end stores such as Saks and Bergdorf Goodman. In an era when women were not leaders of businesses she employed 20, 000 craftswomen and controlled 90% of the global market. Her accomplishments were many and there was a book written about her by Ian Fleming. Ingrid Bergman and Humphery Bogart had starring roles in the black and white film. Good VINTAGE CONDITION - This beauty is qualified as good vintage condition because it does have a few little foibles. The inside is very clean, but there are a couple of spots at the very bottom. These do not affect the use of the handbag and are covered by the plastic liner. Additionally, there may be a few beads missing on each corner bottom (see photograph #4 at the left bottom). I say these may be missing since a lot of times the vintage handbags were not completely beaded. Please remember vintage goodies are not New. Each carry traces of those who have loved and enjoyed them in the past. She is Ready to Go Out on the Town with You!
