Meet the Heat-resistant Earthenware Donabe Rice Cooker with Lid, wheel thrown and handcrafted by Maruyoshi pottery in Yokkaichi city, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
It has excellent heat resistance and convection, allowing rice to be heated and cooked thoroughly, resulting in soft fluffy rice.
The rice cooker has a lid that doubles as a bowl and can be used over direct flame for a variety of cuisines, stew and rice.
