This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use.
It measures 225 mm (8.86 inches) long × 50 mm (1.97 inches) wide × 10 mm (0.39 inches) tall, and weighs 318 g (11.22 oz / 0.70 lbs).
Hardness: 4.4Nakayama Tomae Kiita for tools and razor finishing. Long and narrow with short height making it a great budget option. There are a couple lines which can be slightly felt but do not scratch currently. Thin stone which provides a lower cost option with plenty of usable surface. Typical Nakayama Tomae performance with fast cutting speed and bright mirror like finish possible.
