Handwoven wool front • Keria cotton back • Upcycled at the criée
Bright, warm and instantly uplifting — meet MZILZA, a spirited small-batch cushion collection created from a beautifully woven striped wool textile sourced at the criée berbère in Marrakech. With shades of saffron, soft apricot, clay pink and deep black running through rhythmic Amazigh stripes, this series is sunshine woven into fabric.
Each cushion front is cut from the same hand-loomed wool panel, giving them a harmonious toned family — yet every stripe layout is slightly different, making each one uniquely yours. The back is finished in crisp white keria cotton, a traditional Moroccan weave known for its strength and natural, breathable texture.
Designed to warm up any interior, the MZILZA collection brings a grounded yet joyful Moroccan accent to sofas, reading corners, outdoor lounges, or layered on beds.
Inspired by “mziza”, meaning warm / glowing in Moroccan Arabic, the name captures the sun-kissed palette and radiant mood of these cushions.
☆ Sizes: approx. 50 × 50 cm☆ Front: upcycled wool stripe textile (handwoven)☆ Back: traditional keria cotton (off white)☆ Hidden zipper + Belgian-made inner cushion included☆ Dry clean only☆ Handmade in Marrakech from a single textile panel☆ Limited edition — only 18 pieces available
MZILZA is your go-to for warm palettes: earthy rugs, terracotta accents, walnut wood, beige sofas, or even modern minimalist spaces that need a touch of sun. Layer with neutrals or mix with other SOUK in the CITY stripes for a collected, boho-artisanal look.
These wool panels were selected at the bustling criée berbère, where rural weavings arrive daily from the surrounding Atlas regions.Among piles of colour and pattern, these sunny stripes stood out.
