The Lirios pillow cover is a celebration of color, craftsmanship, and hope. Inspired by the graceful form of lilies, its vibrant floral motifs bloom across a white fabric background, connected by delicate embroidered vines and framed with a lively border. Every stitch is carefully placed by hand, creating a design that feels both joyful and timeless.
Perfect for any room, these pillows provide a cozy and stylish accent while showcasing the artistry of talented Honduran artisans. They are also suitable for framing.
Product Details:
At Honduras Threads, every product tells a story of collaboration and craftsmanship. The Lirios pillow features a unique design by highly regarded American artist Pamela Nelson, brought to life by Honduran artisan Karina. Karina and the rest of the women of the Honduras Threads collective learned their advanced embroidery skills from American embroidery experts to master their craft and produce exceptional, intricate designs.
100% of the purchase of this item and others goes directly back to the artisan\'s collective, where it’s reinvested into their community and continuing education. Their work does more than create beautiful pillows and table runners—it fosters dignity, self-respect, and opportunities for growth.
Since 2002, the artisan women of Honduras Threads have made every piece of fine art or home good item on our website possible. Using their business skills and artistic talents, they handcraft each unique product with care and precision. When you place a Lirios pillow in your home, you bring with it not only vibrant handcrafted design, but also a story of dignity, resilience, and opportunity.
About Pamela Nelson

Pamela Nelson said her life’s course was set watching her grandmother’s hands making handwork. She has found concepts often come full circle through the daily-ness of making art. She longs to see things in new ways, for order, always with her, is the pattern of the soul. Pamela said she is an artist-citizen of the City of Dallas. Closely identifying with urban life, she has contributed to public art locally at DFW Airport, 5 Dart light rail stations, Northpark Center, First United Methodist Church of Richardson, and several local hospitals. Her outreach has been working with Honduras Threads, the Stewpot Open Art Program, and Incarnation House. Pamela has work in the collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, El Paso Museum of Art, George W. Bush Presidential Library and several American embassies abroad. She served on the U. S. Commission of Fine Arts in Washington D.C. from 2001-2011.
