Named after a Chinese herb, the fruit of gardenia, this is a beloved cultivar by the locals but not as famed outside of the tea region. It has reserved floweriness with lingering notes of golden butter. This is not a showy tea but one that requires a quiet mind to savor and let it meditate on your palate. The sizzling tannins of this tea transforms our palate into a meadow of refreshing flowers.
