Detailed information on No. 07, Ali Shan Oolong

A wonderfully fragrant oolong from the Central Highlands of Taiwan, Ali Shan\'s high elevation and rolling cloud cover contribute to the smooth and balanced profile of this magnificent tea.  Subtle evergreen, wild orchid, and honey notes abound in every cup.

The Ali Shan mountain climate is ideal for the tea plants to grow slowly and produce tender leaves with profound flavor. The area in which these gardens are found on the southern part of the Central Mountain range has low temperatures and is humid and foggy. These conditions make it perfect for creating Ali Shan oolong’s vivid personality, exotic flavors and aromas. The tea has a pale yellow color with a light orchid aroma. A slightly sweet but yet complex flavor.

Tea Masters - Fu Chen & Ai Fang - 3rd and 4th Generation tea masters, mother and daughter.

Origin: Chiayi County, Taiwan 2025
