The Tailwind iQ3 Door Kit - Universal Mount is a rugged, commercial grade solution compatible with our 1st generation controllers. It comes with everything you need to connect another door (or gate) and opener to your Tailwind 1st generation IQ3 controller. Use this if you would like to add another garage door or gate to the system. Each Tailwind IQ3 controller can control and monitor up to 3 doors.

NOTE: This door kit includes our universal mount sensor, making it suitable for all types of doors and gates. It can mount above the door or on the floor. If you have a standard sectional type garage door you should consider our kit that includes a J-track mounted sensor as they are easier and faster to install, and fit right on the track.

• Rugged aluminum construction and superior gap tolerance of more than 2 inches provides rock solid door position information even on loose doors in windy conditions


• Sensor and magnet are potted / sealed to protect against moisture / rain


• Flexible installation options make it suitable for above door mount, floor mount, and gates.
