Description

This valve controls the flow of household water into the Washing Machine during the fill portions of the cycle. Replacing a weak, stuck, or leaking valve restores proper filling and helps prevent fill errors and water damage. What it does:

• Opens and closes to let the correct amount of water into the tub


• Common symptoms: no fill or very slow fill


• Water entering the tub when the dishwasher is off or won\'t stop filling


• Drips or leaks from the valve body or hose connection

• One water inlet valve assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing


• Place a towel to catch residual water; relieve line pressure at the supply


• Note wire and hose orientation before removal; move connections one at a time


• After installation, restore water and power, then run a brief fill to check for leaks
