The LC4 Chaise Lounge was originally designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1928, debuting at the Paris Salon d\'Automne in 1929.
Le Corbusier referred to the LC4 as the \"relaxing machine\" due to its ergonomic curves, continuously adjustable reclining position, and industrial design. Its functionality aligns with his belief that furniture should be an extension of human functions.
