Wowsers! We were able to locate just a few more of these vintage handmade wooden ornaments from the days prior to German unification. Our cheery chimney sweep––a traditional symbol of good luck in Germany––was made circa early 1970s in one of the Expertic workshops of the German Democratic Republic. Handmade from turned and carved wood and hand painted, too, by artisans 50 or so years ago in Germany\'s Erzgebirge Mountains. Stands about 3\" tall, with a gold cord for hanging. These are certainly the last we\'ll ever have of these treasures.
