Viking Chair
Detailed information on Viking Chair
This is a 1960s Viking Armchair, designed by Eero Aarnio for ASKO Finland. The piece was imported and distributed in the USA by Stendig. The base is of tubular stainless steel, and the seat is made of bent molded plywood that is covered with foam and fabric. The fabric is original to the piece and is dark brown.
The chair measures 23 inches deep, 23 inches wide, and 32 inches high. It has a seat height of approx. 17.5 inches. The fabric is threadbare and has tears, and the foam is crunchy. Reupholstery is recommended. Overall, the chair is in solid condition. Please see photos.
