Available is an antique brass kettle, stamped on the bottom \'JCB\'. Indicates production by James Clews of Birmingham, England. Clews was a family-owned metalware company between 1835-1948. This particular piece was likely produced c1930.
The ovoid shape is typical of Scottish \'toddy kettles\', which were kept with hot water to add to whisky in order to make a hot toddy. Four padded feet are soldered to the kettle body, with a worn wooden gripped fixed handle.
Some wear to the tin lining inside and some dents on the back, commensurate with age. Please review all photos.
