Our Vintage Navajo Turquoise Cluster Pendant is a piece that feels as though it carries the heartbeat of the desert itself. It would have originally been a brooch and we have converted into a pendant. Created in the late 1960s to early 1970s, it tells the story of an era when Navajo silversmiths shaped silver and stone not just into jewelry, but into living expressions of land and spirit. This pendant is rare in both size and craftsmanship, a sunburst of turquoise radiating from its center like the desert dawn.
Each stone has been hand-cut and set in serrated bezels, forming three concentric ovals that seem to ripple outward in motion. Twisted silver wire flows between them like desert wind trails, and the edges are dotted with silver raindrops, shimmering reminders of the storms that bring life to arid earth. The turquoise varies in hue, some stones soft and sky-like, others deep and stormy, creating a visual rhythm that mirrors the landscape of the Southwest itself.
To ear this pendant is to hold time, a moment when turquoise was still handpicked, shaped by fire and patience, and silver was coaxed into form through touch alone. It has lived decades, yet its glow remains as vivid as the day it left the hands of its maker. Worn or displayed, it commands attention not for its size alone, but for the quiet power it carries, a whisper of tradition, a song of endurance, and a celebration of the artistry that continues to define Navajo jewelry today.
