For sale is a 14k yellow gold seashell circle pendant. This well-crafted pendant was made in the 1950s or 1960s and has wonderful Mid Century Modern styling. The pendant is a large, thick disk of off-white seashell with an intricate, hand-carved engraved texture. The shell is carved into a graduated circle shape, wider at the bottom. The pendant dangles from 14k yellow gold bails and the butterfly is 14k solid gold. The butterfly sits at the edge of the hole in the center of the pendant. She is painted with a vibrant shade of cobalt blue enamel. The pendant has an articulated 14k gold bail to accommodate your chain. This large (1.5\") pendant can be worn at the neckline or on a longer chain as a medallion.


The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
