Shaped from genuine wine-aged English oak, this bar stool carries the quiet dignity of timber seasoned by time and trade. Once part of a working barrel in the Tualatin Valley — where fine Pinot Noir rested and matured — each stave retains its natural history, including the deep, red-hued tones imparted by the wine it once held. That rich burgundy coloration is not applied — it is earned, as true patina always is.
In the spirit of 18th-century craftsmanship, we preserve the honest marks of its former life and transform them into refined seating for the modern gathering table or bar. Hand-formed curves, warm oak grain, and a sturdy colonial silhouette make this piece a fitting companion to kitchens, tasting rooms, tavern-style bars, and hearthside dining spaces alike.
Whether raising a glass in quiet company or hosting lively conversation, this stool stands not as décor — but as an heirloom foundation of American hospitality and early artisan ingenuity.
