This antique handcrafted wicker chair combining traditional weaving techniques using prairie grass twine used only during the early 1900\'s in the American Midwest. The interlaced natural fibers create a lightweight yet structurally sound frame, offering both durability and visual warmth. Ideal for sunrooms, patios, or interior spaces seeking organic texture and timeless appeal. This chair is rare it most likely came from The Crex Company founded in the late 19th century and became the largest manufacturing employer in St, Paul Minnesota, by 1903, largely by processing native prairie grass into twine, rug, and wicker-type furniture.
