An antique Javanese teak wood plantation settee from the early 20th century, with hand painted décor, carved volutes and out-scrolling arms. Born in Java during the early 20th century, this exquisite teak wood settee can sit three people. Our eye is immediately attracted to the colorful back, accented with a delicate red, green and blue décor of flowers surrounding a radiating partial sun. The back\'s lower section presents a perfectly organized rhythm of delicate balusters. Two large volutes flank the central motif of the upper rail, leading us to discover the out-scrolling arms, highlighted with red and blue accents. The settee is raised on four legs, the front ones being scrolled. Their curvy lines compliment the settee\'s Silhouette perfectly. With its graceful lines and hand painted polychrome décor, this teak Javanese plantation settee will bring a touch of relaxed elegance to any home.
