A very sweet 1940s hand painted pillowcase with a poem for your wife. These pillows were often sent by soldiers to their mothers or wives during wartime. This likely dates to WWII. It reads:

16 in. x 14 in. (41 cm x 35 cm)CONDITION: Near perfect. The bottom is open and will need to be stuffed with a new pillow and hemmed. Some marks on the back.
