For those who prefer the look of wood, the phenolic finish offers a natural wood-grain appearance with far greater stability outdoors. Phenolic is commonly used in exterior architectural applications because it holds its shape and surface even in changing weather conditions. It is made by compressing FSC-certified kraft paper with phenolic resin under high pressure, creating a dense, durable surface that resists moisture, warping, and delamination.

HDPE Finishes

Our HDPE Finishes are made from recycled high-density polyethylene, a durable material designed for long-term outdoor use. The recycled plastic is formed into dense panels that are structurally stable, impact-resistant, and color consistent throughout.

HDPE is waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to rot, corrosion, and moisture. It will not crack, splinter, or require sealing or painting, even in harsh climates. At the end of its lifecycle, it can be recycled again, supporting a circular material system.

Phenolic Finishes

Our Phenolic Finishes are made from architectural-grade phenolic, originally developed for exterior cladding and façade applications. It is constructed from FSC-certified kraft paper saturated in phenolic resin and compressed under high pressure with exterior-grade laminate layers.

The result is a material with exceptional strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. Phenolic resists warping, cracking, splintering, and delamination while maintaining its appearance without refinishing or treatments.

Care Instructions

Simply wipe down with soapy water and washcloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or anything abrasive, such as a scouring pad, as that may dull the material. All pieces are scratch resistant, waterproof and will never need to be refinished or painted.
