The Hamilton Outdoor Counter Stool is designed as a durable and comfortable seating option for outdoor countertop areas, patios, terraces, and commercial outdoor bars. Its counter-height configuration makes it suitable for use with outdoor bar tables, kitchen, or elevated counters, providing a practical and versatile seating solution.

From a technical perspective, the counter stool features an extruded aluminum frame, chosen for its strength, lightweight properties, and corrosion resistance. Tapered aluminum legs provide stable support and contemporary styling. The sculptural contoured backrest is accented with double-layer woven Olefin rope, offering both structural support and visual interest. A premium powder-coated finish protects the frame from moisture, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring long-term durability in outdoor environments.

Seating comfort is provided by an all-weather seat cushion and back cushion. The seat cushion contains quick-dry, flow-through foam that allows water to pass through, minimizing drying time after rain or cleaning. Both cushions are wrapped in Dacron to maintain shape, provide consistent comfort, and resist sagging over time. The back cushion is filled with Dacron fiber to provide balanced support for extended seating sessions. Cushions are resistant to outdoor mildew, stains, and fading.

Informationally, the Hamilton Outdoor Counter Stool functions as both a standalone seating option and as part of the Hamilton Collection modular seating system. It coordinates seamlessly with outdoor counter height tables, countertops, and other Hamilton seating pieces, allowing users to create cohesive outdoor entertaining areas.

Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent mounting. Place the stool on a level surface to ensure stability. Clean the aluminum frame and Olefin rope with mild soap and water. Allow cushions to dry completely after exposure to moisture. Protective exterior furniture covers are recommended for extended periods of non-use to preserve material appearance and durability.

Sourced from Sunproof by Ateja, it’s made from fully recyclable, eco-friendly materials and pairs beautifully with our sustainably sourced Indonesian teak furniture.

Milled in Spain from 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn, this fabric resists sun, moisture, mildew, and staining—making it a true workhorse for outdoor living. Its flat, consistent square weave gives it a lightweight yet substantial feel, built to handle the elements with ease. Sourced from Tuvatextil’s Agora range, Panama is stocked widely across our collections and comes in five colorways.

Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. Despite its soft, indoor-like feel, it’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains. Available in a range of neutral tones, Riviera adds refined, textured elegance to cushions and sofas. It comes from the Mario Sirtori line, an Italian company known for luxury, contract-quality fabrics since 1955.

Milled in Italy, Siesta is our premium outdoor fabric that delivers true luxury. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance. It’s easy to clean, quick to dry, and offers a refined balance of classic and contemporary style.

Rope: Rope Light Grey

Soft to the touch but incredibly strong, our Outdoor ropes bring a tactility and warmth to the frames they adorn. Crafted from Olefin, an incredible weather resistant fiber that is more resistant to mold and faster drying than polyester, our workshop wraps and weaves each piece of furniture by hand with this rope. Used across many collections, including Hamilton, Antigua, and Avalon, our designs use the quality of the rope as an aesthetic play on linearity and form – bringing beautiful shadows and dimensions to the elegant form of the furniture.

In Stock items will be delivered to the nearest ground-level entrance, such as your driveway, front porch, or building lobby. You will be responsible for moving the items into your residence, unboxing, and any assembly required. We recommend having help on hand for larger or heavier pieces.

Care + Maintenance

Powder Coated Aluminum

• 
  Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap.


• 
  In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits.


• 
  A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.


• 
  Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first.


• 
  Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches.


• 
  Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners.

Upholstery and Inserts

• 
  To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• 
  Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.


• 
  Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.


• 
  Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• 
  Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.


• 
  Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.


• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
