Detailed information on 7 x 9 MCM Kilim Rug Cream & Gray Tweed \'773

This gorgeous flatweave kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with hemp and goat hair and cotton.

This one is a mixture of brown goat hair tweeded with gray and cream tweed pure hemp with stripes in khaki gray cotton. It is two pieces sewn together. It has a hand sewn patch which we left intact. See photos. This was done by the villagers.

Actual size is 6’10”x 8’7”

It has been professionally cleaned and restored. It is darker in certain areas due to the nature of dying wool and cotton causing a variation in color.
