Wait, a pair of SM jeans without \'Slim\' in the name? It\'s true. The Clift is our easier-fitting five-pocket silhouette — named for Montgomery Clift, one of the first to popularize jeans for the everyman — this time with a zip fly and a bit of stretch. Just like our Slim Straights, the shape riffs on two longtime favorite jeans — think slightly more tapered Levi\'s 501®s and a slightly higher-rise APC New Standards — but this time with extra room all around for guys with a bit more natural ballast. (There\'s even enough space at the leg openings to fit over a pair of cowboy boots.) This pair is made in the perfect normcore, medium-blue, regular-guy wash of ring-ring stretch denim, blue oxford pocketing, brass rivets, chain-stitched hems, and clean, unbranded back pockets.
