This small Burntwater style weaving by skilled Navajo artist Roselyn Begay features a bold central medallion featuring stepped terraces, serrated zigzags, and hooked motifs radiates outward on a warm terracotta ground, framed by striped borders in black, gray, rust, and cream.
Handwoven with processed wool using soft vegetal dyes, this piece displays rich depth and geometric balance. A warm and beautiful example of contemporary Navajo textile art, ideal as a wall hanging or decorative piece.
