Navajo Two Gray Hills (often spelled \"Two Grey Hills\") rugs are widely regarded as the pinnacle of Navajo weaving artistry, frequently called the \"Cadillac\" of Navajo rugs due to their exceptional quality, intricate designs, and technical mastery. Originating from the Two Grey Hills and nearby Toadlena areas on the Navajo Nation in northwestern New Mexico (east side of the Chuska Mountains), this regional style developed prominently in the early 20th century, influenced by traders like George Bloomfield and Ed Davies who encouraged the use of natural wools and refined patterns.
