\"The king of rugs\" Known for producing some of the most important Persian rugs, the city of Bidjar or Bijar is located in the province of Kurdistan in the heart of Northwest Iran. Bidjar lies between the city of Senneh or Sanandaj to the south and the legendary weaving centre of Tabriz to the north. 

This Bidjar rug was produced in the specialist workshops designed to uphold the traditions of the Persian carpet culture and to maintain the quality in the country\'s carpet production. Tightly woven pile and dense heavy weight makes the Bidjar rug unique and one of exceptional quality and value.
