Meaning “timber” in Icelandic, Timbur is crafted from solid, FSC™-certified untreated teak—chosen for its exceptional durability and graceful aging process. The bench is designed as a modular, flat-packed structure, where precision joinery becomes a defining aesthetic element. Every connection is intentional, revealing the integrity behind the form.

The gently sloped backrest supports long, comfortable seating, while the wide armrests extend outward to function as practical side surfaces—ideal for resting a drink or small plate. The teak’s natural oils provide inherent resistance to moisture and outdoor conditions, making it exceptionally suited for open-air environments.

Left untreated, the teak will gradually develop a distinguished silver-gray patina over time. Subtle checking, tonal variation, and natural movement may occur—hallmarks of solid hardwood responding to its surroundings. These characteristics enhance the authenticity and individuality of each piece.

A slim, weather-resistant seat cushion is available separately for added comfort without compromising the bench’s architectural silhouette.

Your piece will be delivered to the nearest accessible ground-level area—such as your driveway, front porch, or building lobby. The carrier will not bring the item indoors. Unboxing, placement, and any assembly required will be the responsibility of the recipient.

Premium Delivery | White Glove* (Upon Request)

For a more seamless experience, White Glove service is available upon request. Our delivery team will bring your piece inside, unbox and inspect it, place it in your desired location, and remove all packaging materials.

Delivery Timeline

Allow up to approximately 15 weeks for production and delivery of new furniture. Many pieces are crafted to order, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality materials and careful construction.

If production delays occur due to supplier capacity, material availability, or unforeseen manufacturing circumstances, you will be promptly notified by customer service. You will also be informed if an item is temporarily out of stock.

Special Considerations – Untreated Teak

This is crafted from solid, untreated FSC-certified teak. As a living material, teak will naturally respond to its environment.

  Natural Weathering: If left untreated, teak will gradually develop a soft silver-gray patina when exposed to sun and moisture. This process is purely aesthetic and does not affect structural integrity.

  Surface Changes: Hairline cracks, checking, and subtle movement may occur as the wood expands and contracts with temperature and humidity changes. These characteristics are normal and part of solid hardwood performance.

  Color Variation: Each piece will feature natural tonal variation and grain differences, making every table unique.

Care + Maintenance

• To maintain the warm golden-brown tone, apply teak oil periodically.


• To allow for natural aging, simply clean with mild soap and water as needed.


• Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washing, which can damage the wood fibers.

Storage: For extended longevity, cover or store in a dry, ventilated space during extreme weather conditions.
