The barrel-back profile and structured seat support provide stable, comfortable dining seating in residential or commercial exterior spaces.This patio dining chair is built with a solid teak base in a Natural finish. Teak displays natural grain variation, and each piece differs slightly. As the material responds to temperature and moisture changes, it may expand or contract, leading to minor hairline cracks that do not affect frame integrity. When exposed to outdoor conditions, teak gradually transitions to a silver-gray patina. Natural oils may rise to the surface during humid or rainy conditions, temporarily appearing as surface stains before dissipating over time.

The upholstery uses 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric available in Panama, Copacabana, Riviera, and Siesta. These fabrics resist fading, stains, and mildew. Cushion construction includes a poly-foam core wrapped in a poly casing to slow water penetration, while reticulated foam supports drainage and drying. The materials are selected to provide consistent performance in outdoor environments.

This outdoor dining armchair is designed for use around outdoor dining tables or as standalone seating in outdoor lounge areas. The ergonomic barrel-back design supports extended sitting, and the construction is compatible with humid, coastal, and variable climates. It integrates with other pieces within the Como collection for cohesive outdoor layouts.Apply Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season to maintain the wood’s appearance. Rinse periodically to remove dirt, mold, and mildew. For stubborn buildup, use a power washer from a distance of 30\" at a pressure not exceeding 1200 PSI. Allow the wood to dry fully in sunlight. If moisture causes raised grain, sand lightly using 120-grit sandpaper.

For upholstery care, brush regularly with a soft-bristle brush to prevent dirt buildup. Clean with mild soap or Fabric Cleaner and warm water, then rinse thoroughly. Allow cushions to drain by placing them on their sides with zippers unzipped and facing downward. Avoid standing water on both the frame and cushions. Rinse weekly in saltwater environments. • One of the highlights of natural teak is its beauty and grain. Each teak piece is unique.


• Depending on climate and exposure to elements, teak weathers to a beautiful silver-grey finish over time.


• The wood will expand and contract with changes in climate. Shrinking of the wood can result in hairline cracks in the assembly joints or the grain itself. This does not affect the structural integrity of the frame’s construction.


• The natural oils in teak may rise to the surface if exposed to rain and humidity, appearing like water stains.


• Oil content can vary between pieces, so oil surfacing may recur multiple times before it naturally subsides over a period of several months.

Sourced from Tuvatextil’s Agora range, Panama is stocked widely across our collections and comes in five colorways.

Sourced from Italy, Riviera is a fully outdoor performance fabric with a knubby texture similar to luxe boucle or terry cloth. Despite its soft, indoor-like feel, it’s made from 100% polypropylene, making it resistant to sun, moisture, sweat, mildew, and stains. Available in a range of neutral tones, Riviera adds refined, textured elegance to cushions and sofas. It comes from the Mario Sirtori line, an Italian company known for luxury, contract-quality fabrics since 1955.

Care + Maintenance

Teak

• Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.


• For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.


• Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.


• A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.

Upholstery and Inserts

• 
  To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• 
  Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.


• 
  Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.


• 
  Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• 
  Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.


• 
  Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.


• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.

Over time, the natural weathering of Gray Teak will cause its appearance to change in color and texture, with possible marks and cracks.
