Measuring 3cm long x 1.5cm wide this solid gold mussel shell cushions a real 7-8mm white pearl. Fine lines are carved into the gold by hand to represent the growth of the shell. This is not a real shell dipped but rather a thick solid gold shell formed by Pa-pa and hallmarked at the Birmingham assay office to verify the solid 9ct gold content. .
