This is an Eames DAW Chair, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1950. This example was produced by Herman Miller in the USA in 2022. The chair features a molded shell that is upholstered in a grey fabric. The iconic “Eiffel” base features black powder-coated metal rods and ebony dowel legs. DAW is an acronym for Dining Arm Chair on Wood Base.
The chair measures 24.5 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.25 inches. This piece shows light wear from previous use and overall is in very good to excellent condition. Please see photos.
