Owner\'s ManualLike other Pro-Series vacuums, the CleanMax CMP-3N Upright features HEPA media bags and filters. This professional vacuum is extremely tough, with multiple metal components (the handle tube, bottom plate and cord hook are all metal). The wheels are rubber with brass bushings and the brushes have ball bearings. Thermal and pressure activated motor protection secures your investment by ensuring that your commercial vacuum will stop if the engine is in danger of overheating. This upright vacuum comes with two 30-foot commercial grade cords that plug into a 6.5-inch pigtail. The spare is handy for a quick cord change if the first cord becomes damaged. The brush roll is glass filled polycarbonate, with a 14 inch nozzle with a riveted bumper. To change the Cleanmax vacuum bag, unplug the vacuum cleaner and remove the bag compartment cover. Remove the used bag from the bag holder. Attach the new bag onto the bag holder and pull the bottom corners of the new vacuum bag. Reinsert the tabs on the end of the bag compartment cover into the grooves on the bag compartment housing. Press it into place and fasten the bag cover latch tightly. It also boasts a tool-less belt change feature that reduces downtime. To replace the vacuum belt, first unplug the vacuum. Remove the bottom plate by placing it in the low position by pressing the foot pedal twice while reclining the handle. Turn the vacuum over. Remove the two screws holding the bottom plate in place and remove the bottom plate. To replace the belt, remove the belt guard and pull the brushroll straight out. Remove the belt from the brushroll. Loop a new belt over the motor pulley and over the end of the brushroll. Stretch the belt while inserting the brushroll back into the nozzle housing and reinsert the belt guard. Spin the brushroll by hand to ensure it turns smoothly and is properly aligned. Replace the bottom plate by hooking the front end of the plate into the two ribs on the front end of the nozzle housing. Put the bottom plate in place and fasten it with the two screws.
