Vintage Moroccan Boujaad Rug. 
These beautiful Moroccan rugs are made by the Boujaad tribe in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. They have been carefully selected by our cooperative in Morocco. We are experts on vintage Berber carpets.
Boujaad rugs are sourced from the Haouz region in the Middle Atlas Mountains and date from the 1960’s. Made with soft wool and natural dyes, the warm brown, orange and purple hues are a defining feature of these tribal rugs that were hand-woven by woman of the community. Irregular patterning and designs are imbued with traditional Berber motifs that symbolise themes like fertility, spirituality and rural family life.
A statement piece for your home and an heirloom to be treasured and passed down through the ages.
