Aged beauty with backbone…a 1920s Persian Sarouk on a deep midnight ground, strewn with blossoming sprays and leafy tendrils that rise from a central bouquet and drift to the corners. The madder border marches with rosettes and tiny buds…a classic garden frame around a moody field.

Low pile from a century of life, yet stout and steady underfoot with that satisfying, substantial handle Sarouks are famous for. Vegetable dyed wool, saturated navy and ember reds with hints of teal and gold that still sing. Worn in the right ways…polished, soulful, easy to style anywhere a dose of old world floral is needed. Worn but still durable.
