A French Louis XVI style painted wingback bergère chair from the 19th century, with carved decor and new upholstery. Born in France during the 19th century, this lovely \'bergère à oreilles\' features a winged back topped with a carved cartouche in the center of its upper rail. The two arms, providing convenient privacy to the sitter, are adorned with scrolled extremities accented with acanthus leaves.
