The solid oak wood, originally stained walnut to appeal to an American market, has been hand-sanded and left in it\'s original, natural wood tone and hand-polished with natural wax and shows now discernable wear with no scratches, gouges or stains present whatsoever.The upholstery, redone a fabulous genuine Italian leather hide, has been hand-sewn and features new support straps as well as medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity.
