  Gritty Tallow? If it experiences extreme temperature changes - the tallow and carrier oils can separate. It’s still just fine to use! Either warm up between your fingers to melt before applying - or you can melt the whole jar on low heat in a double broiler or microwave, let cool to soft and whip again or use unwhipped!
