Moni (Μονή – Greek for “monastery.” A nod to the simplicity, reverence, and geometric elegance found in both monastic textiles and Metsovo’s stone-built traditions.)

Woven high in the mountains of Epirus, Moni is a vintage floor runner from Metsovo featuring symmetrical botanical and architectural motifs in deep brown on a warm cream field. Its layout echoes the disciplined structure of liturgical embroidery and the slow precision of highland loom work.

Finished with soft fringe and a grounding palette, this piece is perfect for a hallway, entry, or along the side of a bed—bringing with it a sense of stillness, structure, and deep-rooted tradition.
