The White Series portrays an emphasis on the material itself, the viewer is invited to explore the thin line between the material and the product

The slight and occasionally extraordinary deformations on the form brings out the uniqueness of the material while drawing attention to explore the boundaries of the material. The matte outer surface aims to capture this feeling while the thin edges allows for a rich experience of taste and joy. 

Each product is hand altered and some variations in shape and glaze are to be expected. Samples are fully functional and have moderate glaze imperfections.

About the Artist

Seda Sener\'s works with ceramics dates back to about six years, ever since she is cultivating her passion each day within the ceramics realm. Working with ceramics Seda takes satisfaction in producing, feeling and understanding the material and consolidating all of these experiences within the production process and into her work. With the initiation of the feeling and without forgetting the need respectively she first explores the feeling and with that the material and its limits.
