Detailed information on ACQUA E VINO - Limited Red Glass – Short

This Limited Edition tumbler with a red band is an addition to the existing ‘Acqua e Vino’ (‘Water and Wine’) set of glassware. Produced exclusively for Permanent Collection by award-winning, London-based designer Martino Gamper. On its own, this glass makes a perfect water or wine glass, or an elegant vessel for a classic cocktail.

Gamper conceived the set, which contains differently-sized glasses, for specific types of drinking: narrow and tall for sparkling wine, narrow and short for white wine, wide and short for red wine, the carafe for water. Handmade by master glassblower Massimo Lunardon in San Giorgio di Perlena, Italy, each glass wears a pale colored glass band, a subtle reference to the range of hues that find their way into Gamper’s work. This glass\'s band is a red color, and provides a bit of extra grip.
