HOT ! Ungovernable Candle - Black Glaze

You know that person at the dinner party who shows up with a bottle of red that costs more than your rent and then says something completely unhinged before dessert? This candle is their energy in wax form.

Ungovernable opens with black currant and crisp apple, then settles into the dark heart of the thing: black cherry soaked in red wine with a whisper of clove. The base is where it gets dangerous. Vanilla, aged oak, and amber ground it all out while the whole room smells like you have significantly better taste than everyone else in the room.

It’s boozy.

It’s sophisticated.

It’s the kind of scent that makes people ask what you’re wearing and you just shrug because you’re not giving anyone that information.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including patchouli, nutmeg, and davana, and is formulated without phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, or acute toxins. Because burning something in your house shouldn’t require a risk assessment.

The container is one of our wheel thrown studio pieces in matte black, and yes, it’s reusable. When the candle is done, wash it out and put a plant in it, keep your rings in it, whatever. We made it on the wheel, we’re not letting you throw it away.

We pour with pure soy wax because it’s already part of our studio life. It’s what we use on the bottoms of our pots before glazing. It was here before the candles were. It just made sense.
