If there\'s a downside to salvaging as much material as we do, it\'s the amount of scrap wood left over after a dining table or console has been completed. Throwing out usable material is the last thing we want to do, instead we save our scrap and put it to use whenever and wherever possible.These coffee tables are made using that very scrap, we simply add complimentary pieces in a patchwork manner over a birch frame. We fasten a 3/8 sheet of wire glass over the top using steel caps, the legs are hairpins we weld right here in our shop, each table is a 100% handmade original. Wood is finished with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax, the steel gets a clear-coat to protect against future rusting. We\'re a built-to-order fabrication shop so message us if you want this piece modified in any way -- bigger, smaller, different legs.... whatever you need, we can make it happen. All items are handmade at the time of purchase, due to overwhelming demand we ask for 10-12 weeks lead time (rush orders available for an upcharge).
