Celebrate the Day of the Dead with the Naked & Famous Denim exclusive Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge jeans. The Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge is a 12.5oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan, using rope dyed short slub yarns. This technique imparts an uneven surface texture and color tone to the fabric, which will develop high-contrast vertical fades over time as the indigo fades away. 

In keeping with its celebration of Mexican culture, the Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge is made from 100% Mexican upland cotton. The selvedge ID offers the colorful stripes found in traditional Mexican sarape blankets, adding a touch of cultural homage. The jeans also feature a vegetable-tanned leather patch and pocket flasher with artwork by José Ruiz, a distinguished tattoo artist from Mexico City. His artwork, depicting skeletons adorning a traditional altar, masterfully captures the symbolic spirit of the Day of the Dead. The jeans are also accentuated with contrast stitching, and silver metallic buttons and rivets.
