Real-Time Monitoring

  Air Quality Indicator: Located on the front of the unit, it’s constantly monitoring your air and providing instant feedback about your air quality.

  Color Indicator: Quickly know your indoor air quality by looking at the color of the indicator light. It will change to 1 of 4 colors to indicate current conditions. Levels are Good (Blue), Moderate (Purple), Unhealthy (Pink), and Very Unhealthy (Red).

Dual-Sided HEPA Filtration

Two-stage filtration ensures that not only are the large, easy-to-see pet hair and dust that can wreak havoc on allergies removed, but nearly invisible asthma and allergy triggers are too. Working together, this multi-stage filtration allows the Coway Airmega 400 to eliminate 99.97 percent of airborne allergens and particles down to 0.01 microns.

  Pre-Filter: Traps larger particles like dust, pet hair, and other debris, allowing the Max2 filter to eliminate smaller, hard-to-see allergens.

  Combined HEPA Filtration: The Green True HEPA Filter eliminates dust and allergens, and is combined with an Activated Carbon Filter for odor elimination.

  Filters on Both Sides: Filters are located on each side of the body to provide optimal cleaning performance.

  Filter Life Notifications: Two filter indicator buttons are located on top of the unit, the Max2 and Pre-Wash indicators. Remaining filter life is displayed at 5 lit sections on the indicator (100, 80, 60, 40, and 20 percent). When all lights around the button go out and the letters on the button light up, the filters are at 0 percent and need to be replaced.

Automatic Operation

Setting itself apart from other air purifiers, the Airmega 400 air purifier features the ultimate in hands-off convenience. When engaged via the touch sensor control panel on the unit, Smart Mode will provide users with several features.

  Automatic Fan Speed: Based on its determination of your current indoor air quality, the air purifier will automatically adjust to the correct fan speed for conditions.

  Sleep Mode: The unit will automatically reduce power and noise when the onboard light sensor notices that the room is dark and that air quality has remained good for 3 minutes.


• 
  Eco Mode: When air quality remains at a good level for more than 10 minutes, the fan will automatically shut off to conserve energy. If the air quality begins to decrease, the unit will restart automatically.
